Growing Our Community

  • Our Connected Roots
    March 26, 2020 at 6:00 PM

Join us for this series of workshops where we will explore what it means to live with Peace, Passion and Purpose. We want to collaborate with you and create a shared mission and vision for our communities, that we hope will reignite a part of you. The hearts of many people today are filled with a deep, yet vague sense of yearning. We live in an age where we have overwhelming connectivity and opportunities for wealth, but often find ourselves still yearning for something else. It is the so-called “Promise of a Good Life” that has become a hollow promise for so many and leaves us wanting something more. We are certain that this something begins with reconnecting to what brings you peace, passion and purpose. We will share our stories, ideas and visions and co-create workshops and presentations that will provide a safe place to find inspiration and cultivate peace, passion and purpose in your lives. Join facilitators Jen Hewson of Canadian Women Healing Our World and Jill Campbell-Master Reiki practitioner of Health Essentials Clinic, for an evening of magic and discovery. Please dress comfortably and bring a refillable water bottle. You must RSVP with a ticket to attend.

  • The Art of Letting Go
    March 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM

Unresolved emotions can get trapped in our bodies where they build and fester, draining our energy, leading to burnout, emotional imbalance, and eventually disease. When we chronically repress emotions, we can create toxicity in our bodies, our minds, and our hearts. Jen Hewson will guide you through a healing art exercise and help you set the intention for the day. Next, you will be guided on a healing meditation, led by Christine Noble, that will help you let go of what no longer serves you, so you can make space for what does serve you. She will start with a slow movement meditation and flow into a guided heart- centered meditation with the addition of Tibetan singing bowls. The bowls are said to promote relaxation and offer powerful healing properties. Finally, we will share organic herbal tea and reflect on the journey with a journaling exercise. Everyone will leave with guided activities to complete at home, to continue practicing:
    "The Art of Letting Go."
